Announcing the eighth edition of Katowice’s alternative music celebration. This year’s festival will take place August 2–4, and will feature such acts as Deerhunter, Jens Lekman Metz, Merchandise, Laurel Halo.
It is with great pride and gratitude for all your votes that we announce that the OFF Festival Katowice has been shortlisted for the European Festival Awards. Will we take home the prize for Best Medium Sized Festival for the second year running? We’ll find out January 9.
The OFF Festival Club is back! Headlining the next club edition of one of Europe’s most original music festivals is the legendary French electro duo DAT Politics, who will perform at Cafe Kulturalna in Warsaw on December 2, 2012.

We’re proud to announce that for the third time in a row, the OFF Festival Katowice has been nominated to the prestigious European Festival Awards. Last year we managed to clinch the prize for Best Medium Sized Festival, and we might just do it again this year – it’s all in your hands.
That was one unforgettable weekend: Metronomy’s dancy beats, the wild sounds of Atari Teenage Riot, the living magic of Charles Bradley, the insanity of Swans, the phenomenal Battles, and the charismatic Thurston Moore, Kim Gordon, Stephen Malkmus, and Henry Rollins, and, last but not least, the one and only living legend, Iggy Pop and his raucous company. The seventh annual OFF Festival will go down in history.
