Nils Frahm: Injured But Still at his Post
Nils Frahm has broken a finger, and we’re sorry for him, but no, he hasn’t called off his OFF Festival show. Instead, he’s invited an excellent collaborator to join him on stage.
The Berlin-based composer and producer performing this Thursday at the Hipnoza club (or this Friday, rather, as the show is set to start half an hour past midnight) broke his left thumb a few days ago. But instead of canceling his OFF Festival concert, he’s decided to mix it up a bit, inviting a special guest to join him: Peter Broderick, known for his solo records for Bella Union and his collaboration with Efterklang. Together the duo plan to perform two or three numbers.
And what about Nils Frahm’s solo repertuar? As the artist assured us via his Facebook page, the concert is still on – he just might have to play a bit slower.
