OFF Festival named one of Pitchfork’s 20 essential summer festivals across the globe
The website Pitchfork — an unquestioned authority in the world of music — has named the OFF Festival among this year’s 20 essential summer festivals.
The list includes 10 European events, with the OFF Festival featured amongst such good company as Roskilde and Primavera. Pitchfork praised the festival’s program, mentioning Wedding Present’s performance of the album Seamonsters and Chrome Hoof’s live rendition of a soundtrack to the film Hydrozagadka.
Last year’s edition of the OFF Festival won the European Music Award for Best Medium-Sized Festival. We’re proud to see this year’s event garnering praise months ahead of time.
