Presenting Enchanted Hunters
Enchanted Hunters, one of the most promising Polish debuts in recent years, will be performing at this year’s OFF Festival. They’ll be stepping in for Jazzpospolita at the T-Mobile Forest Stage. Enchanted Hunters also took part in the OFF Festival’s Turn It Up! Contest, where the panel of judges awarded them fourth place.
The Tri-City based Enchanted Hunters are a band that gets better the closer you get to know them. They love performing, and have been known to invite audiences to concerts in untypical locations: they’ve played among kinetic sculptures in a park on the Swelina river and the shore of a forest pond. We can only assume that they’ll feel right at home at Dolina Trzech Stawów.
The band is led by Małgorzata Penkalla, joined on stage by Magdalena Gajdzica and Patryk Zieliniewicz. They describe their music as highly personal; their sound has more in common with sleepy lo-fi projects than mainstream productions. If you want to find out for yourself, we recommend their debut album, Peoria, released in May on Antena Krzyku.
