The Car Is On Fire (PL)

One of the leading Polish bands to come out this century. Their eponymous 2005 debut led many to believe that they were going to be an excellent Polish response to the new Anglo-Saxon rock revolution, but The Car Is On Fire went on to do everything they could to shake obvious labels and pigeonholing. Their third and thus far last album, Ombarrops!, was recorded at Soma Electronic Music Studios in Chicago, under the direction of Tortoise frontman John McEntire.
