Steve Goodman might have a Ph.D. in philosophy, but his interpretation of Hegel’s concept of freedom isn’t what brought him worldwide fame. This Londoner is known for heading the Hyperdub label, a breeding ground for fresh club sounds, his own work, excellent remixes, and exhilarating DJ sets performed under the Kode9 moniker. Dubstep, jungle, drum and bass, 2-step, or dancehall: Goodman is no stranger to any contemporary dance music genre.
