Baaba Kulka (PL)

Baaba Kulka features Gaba Kulka on vocals (or is it Bruce Dickinson? It’s not Paul DiAnno, and definitely not Blaze Bayley), accompanied by Tomasz Duda (or is it Adrian Smith?), Bartosz Weber (who once wanted to be Adrian Smith, but has since settled for Dave Murray), Piotr Zabrodzki (who hasn’t heard of Steve Harris, but Macio has the drums covered), Macio Moretti (a.k.a. Nicko McBrain, for many reasons, but also Clive Burr, because he likes Kiss). So we have Gaba — the most versatile and bold female voice on the Polish alternative scene — and Baaba — a band that’ll play anything as long as it’s interesting and against the grain. They’ve come together to celebrate three otherworldly forces: metal, Satan, and soccer. See them at the OFF Festival — it may be your last chance (and not just because the end is near…)
